Best TH11 Anti-2 Star Base 2026 -- Eagle Artillery Timing

The Grand Warden changes TH11 warfare. Anti-2 star design must account for the Warden Ability blocking damage on key troops at critical moments. Build your base so the Eagle Artillery activates early -- before the attacking Warden protects the push -- and so all four Air Defenses cover every approach angle.

Eagle Artillery Position and Activation Window

The Eagle Artillery fires after attackers deploy roughly 150 housing space worth of troops. Position it centrally so it begins firing while attackers are still in their setup phase, before heroes enter the core. A central Eagle Artillery punishes large opening deployments -- Super Witches, Electro Dragons, GoWitch stacks -- at maximum effectiveness. A corner Eagle Artillery activates late and covers a narrow field; avoid it.

Grand Warden Counter Placement

The defending Grand Warden on ground mode covers a wide radius from a central position. Place him inside the third compartment ring, adjacent to the Town Hall, so attacking armies must penetrate deep before his threat becomes irrelevant. Heroes on opposing sides of the base force attacking heroes to split, weakening funnels and preventing a single Queen Charge from clearing multiple defenders.

Four Air Defense Coverage

With four Air Defenses available, TH11 can cover all four cardinal approach directions. Place one AD per quadrant -- never clustered -- so no single ZapQuake combo eliminates more than one. The innermost AD should sit adjacent to the Eagle Artillery to catch air cleanup crews attempting to destroy key defenses late in an attack.
