TH11 ZapQuake LaLoon eliminates two of the four Air Defenses with spells before deploying the air wave. Two Lava Hounds then tank the two remaining ADs while Balloons destroy all defenses. With only two ADs operational and both tanked by Hounds, Balloons sweep the base almost uncontested. The Grand Warden on air mode adds the ability to make the Balloon cluster temporarily invincible during Eagle Artillery burst, making this a highly consistent three-star attack when spell accuracy is correct.
Army Composition and Spells
Standard TH11 ZapQuake LaLoon (260 housing): 2 Lava Hounds (60), 30 to 32 Balloons (60 to 64), filler Minions (remaining ~136). Spells: 6 Lightning + 2 Earthquake (destroys 2 ADs), 2 Rage (Balloon wave). Clan Castle: Balloons. Grand Warden on air mode. With two ADs eliminated by spells, the remaining attack only needs to handle two surviving ADs -- one Hound per AD. Thirty or more Balloons provides overwhelming air firepower against the two-AD defensive state.
Step-by-Step Execution
Step 1 -- Select two target ADs: Choose the two ADs most accessible from above and farthest from the Eagle Artillery. Targeting ADs close to the Eagle Artillery risks activating it mid-spell. Step 2 -- Destroy AD #1: 3 Lightning + 1 Earthquake on first target. Confirm destroyed. Step 3 -- Destroy AD #2: 3 Lightning + 1 Earthquake on second target. Confirm destroyed. Step 4 -- Air Sweeper check: Note the Sweeper direction. Deploy Hounds and Balloons from the side the Sweeper faces away from. Step 5 -- Hound deployment: Deploy 2 Hounds toward the two surviving ADs. Step 6 -- Balloon wave: When Hounds engage ADs, deploy all Balloons in a wide line behind the Hounds. Step 7 -- Warden ability: Activate when Eagle Artillery fires on the Balloon cluster. Step 8 -- Rage on Balloon cluster mid-base and again on the Town Hall approach.
TH11 vs TH10 ZapQuake Difference
At TH10, ZapLaLoon destroys one of three ADs. At TH11, you destroy two of four ADs -- the spell investment is higher (six Lightning, two Earthquake vs three Lightning, one Earthquake) but the result is proportionally better because two Hounds can now tank both remaining ADs simultaneously with no AD firing freely on Balloons.
