The best overall TH12 base uses these five high-DPS defenses to cover all attack types simultaneously. Scattershots positioned for cross-fire handle air swarms and ground clusters equally. Triple single-mode Infernos shred heroes and high-HP troops in both war and multiplayer. The result is a base that performs at 90%+ efficiency in every game mode.

Scattershots for Cross-Mode Coverage

Scattershots fire on any troop -- air or ground -- within their range. Positioning them on opposite ends of the base in cross-fire creates coverage that punishes Dragon Rider air attacks from one side and Super Witch ground attacks from the other. An air attack avoiding one Scattershot reaches the other; a ground attack taking a flanking approach hits the same cross-fire. No single approach direction from any attack type avoids both Scattershots simultaneously.

Triple Inferno Core Configuration

All three Infernos on single mode in a triangular core configuration create overlapping coverage that handles war heroes, farming Archer Queens, and trophy-range GoHo simultaneously.
