Best TH12 Anti-2 Star Base 2026 -- Triple Inferno Core

TH12 introduces three Infernos and two Scattershots, the strongest defensive toolkit before TH15. An anti-2 star base weaponizes all five high-DPS structures so no approach corridor leads cleanly to the Town Hall without passing through at least two Infernos and one Scattershot.

Triple Inferno Configuration

Set all three Infernos to single mode. Super Witch Blizzard and Dragon Rider attacks rely on high-HP units -- single mode shreds them faster than multi. Position two Infernos flanking the Town Hall compartment and the third covering the most likely outer approach. This triangular configuration means any attack facing at least two Inferno beams on its front-line troops before reaching the core.

Scattershot Cross-Fire

Two Scattershots placed on opposite ends of the base create cross-fire that punishes large air swarm deployments. Dragon Rider attacks that avoid one Scattershot fly directly into the other. Ground attacks face Scattershot splash on troops bunched in wall-breaking corridors. Neither Scattershot should share a compartment with the Town Hall -- spread them wide to maximize independent coverage area.

Ten-Compartment Layout Logic

A competitive TH12 anti-2 star layout has at least ten distinct walled zones before the Town Hall chamber. The outer two rings handle splash and trap placement; the inner rings contain Infernos and high-DPS single-target defenses. Traps -- Giant Bombs, Spring Traps, Skeleton Traps -- fill the Hog Rider corridor approaches between defensive rings.
