TH15 Super Dragon Guide 2026 -- Fireball Swarm at Maximum Air Power

TH15 Super Dragon gains the Electro Owl RC support, where RC walks adjacent to the air wave with Electro Owl firing chain lightning on nearby air defenses. The larger TH15 housing limit (320) allows 8 to 9 Super Dragons maximum. The extra Super Dragon significantly increases fireball DPS on the push. Combined with the Monolith being irrelevant to air troops, TH15 Super Dragon is the most damage-efficient air attack for bases that resist Dragon Rider due to high-level Air Defenses or unusual layout.

Army Composition and Spells

Standard TH15 Super Dragon swarm (320 housing): 8 to 9 Super Dragons (super boost, 160 to 180 housing), 5 Balloons (10 -- cleanup), filler Minions (remaining ~130 to 150). Spells: 3 Lightning + 1 Earthquake (destroy one AD), 2 Rage, 2 Freeze, 1 Haste. Clan Castle: Dragon or Balloon. Warden on air mode. RC Electro Owl deployment: deploy RC on ground adjacent to the Super Dragon approach edge. Electro Owl chain lightning fires to air defenses adjacent to the Super Dragon approach corridor as RC walks the base perimeter.

Step-by-Step Execution

Step 1 -- Lightning pre-attack: Destroy one AD with 3 Lightning + 1 Earthquake. Choose the AD most directly in the Super Dragon fireball path. Step 2 -- RC Electro Owl ground support: Deploy Royal Champion adjacent to the Super Dragon approach edge. RC walks along the outside of the base wall -- Electro Owl chain lightning damages air defenses near the approach angle from ground level. Step 3 -- Super Dragon cluster: Drop all 8 to 9 Super Dragons in a tight cluster (3 to 4 tiles apart) at the approach point. Step 4 -- Warden air mode: Warden follows behind the cluster. Activate ability on Eagle Artillery burst or when both Scattershots fire simultaneously on the cluster. Step 5 -- First Rage: Drop on the Super Dragon cluster when engaging the outer ring. Fireball DPS combined with Rage clears outer ring in 5 to 8 seconds. Step 6 -- First Freeze: On the Scattershot concentrating splash fire on the cluster. Step 7 -- Second Rage: On the inner ring -- Town Hall approach. Second Freeze: on Eagle Artillery or the remaining Scattershot. Step 8 -- Balloon cleanup behind the Super Dragon wave for outer building sweeping. Haste on Balloons during cleanup phase.

RC Electro Owl Air Support Mechanics

Electro Owl fires chain lightning that has no ground-air restriction -- it chains between ground buildings and air defenses within 7 tiles. Deploying RC adjacent to the Super Dragon approach corridor means Electro Owl continuously damages Air Defenses and Scattershots as RC walks along the base wall. This bonus damage helps Super Dragons destroy key anti-air defenses faster.
